Writing, Publishing & Selling Books [English/Spanish], creating/selling artwork, presenting programs
Dream Image Press, LLC has three divisions: books, artwork and programs. The first photo includes the children's book author - Dr. Elana Ashley - and the 8 storybook characters in her newest book CASE TWO: BIG BULLY HOLLY HOWLER - which just came out in the English edition in September, 2015. By the last week in November, 2015, possibly before, the English-Spanish edition will be available - La gran abusiva Holly Howler. The book is about Ellie Elephant, a 1st grade student, who is the victim of a bully, and who gets advice from a magical alien. This wisdom helps Ellie to transform a bully into a friend!! Dr. Ashley is presently involved with a Local Book Tour in the Chicago area. If you are interested in participating in the Book Tour, call 847.480.8998 to plan for a visit to your location. While October is National Anti-Bullying Month throughout the U.S., Bullying sadly remains an issue virtually every day throughout the year, so feel free to call for further information and arranging for a visit at your school, library, park district and/or other community organizations. Other programs may be available, as well. Be sure to book in advance!
The company writes, publishes and sells children's books in English and English/Spanish to schools, libraries, social service and health organizations, families and interested individuals. Our books focus on everyday issues that challenge children and adults; such as, bullying, friendship, teamwork, conflict resolution and peacemaking strategies. Audio CDs and teaching guides accompany books.
In addition, we create and sell original paintings and mixed media, as well as display the work at art exhibitions in the Chicago metropolitan area.
Further, we offer programs for adults and seniors that combine original writings and original artwork through a dramatic performance and the use of a power point system. Dramatic readings of children's books are provided for schools and other interested community organizations.
