How long have you been in business?
The roots of our business dates back to 1934 when my father opened a retail pen store-McLennon Pen Co. in downtown Chicago. We have been focused on promotional products and print materials since 1995.
What is your primary product or service?
Promotional Products and Print Materials of all kinds.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My husband and I bought my father's business. Just before we bought the business, I was a regional supervisor for Mattel Toys. and my husband was a VP General Mgr for a school equipment company.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We belong to the Proforma group which is a group of companies like ours- all individually owned-that have joined together. 750 locations throughout the US. Proforma is now the largest distributor of print materials and the 2nd largest distributor of promotional products in the US with 450 million in combined sales. Our size gives us financial depth and access to all suppliers domestic and off shore. And, we offer many years of experience in the field.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Barrington and Algonquin. Yes, we do have plans to expand over time.

All of Chicagoland and the midwest. And we have many distant accounts that we work with by phone and the internet.

Margaret (Peggy) Curran, President. We are a woman owned business. My husband George is our Vice President.

8:30 to 5:00 weekdays.
