What is your primary product or service?
Provide pump solutions for any application, consumer or industrial. Also provide large selection of portable and stationary generators. Along with many of these pumps and generators being gas engine powered, PumpBiz has a affiliate company RunPropane.com which provides Bi-fuel upgrades for any 4-cycle engine. Lawn mowers, generators, power equipment, cars and trucks.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
After graduation with a BSME from Marquette University, I became interested in fluids. This led to 20 years of designing industrial pumps, pumping systems and pump filtration systems. With the web becoming popular in 2000 decided to provide a sales organization focused on selling quality pumping solutions.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We carry a vast line of name brands for all applications and do so with a focus on the application and features the customer needs.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One. We open after hours to serve customers emergency needs from our vast invintory and parts.
